After Care
Proper aftercare promotes faster healing, reduces the risk of complications, and helps the makeup or lash extensions maintain their quality and longevity, ultimately ensuring clients' satisfaction and safety.
Lash Extensions Post-care
-
Clean Lashes: It's crucial to start with clean lashes. Remove any makeup, oils, or residue from your eyelashes using an oil-free makeup remover or a lash cleanser recommended by your lash technician.
-
Avoid Caffeine and Water: On the day of your appointment, try to avoid caffeine and excessive water intake before your appointment. This can help reduce the need to use the restroom during the application process, which can disrupt the treatment.
-
Remove Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, remove them before your lash appointment. Bring your glasses with you if needed, as you may not be able to wear contact lenses for a few hours after the application.
-
Skip Mascara: Do not wear mascara on the day of your appointment. Mascara residue can make it more challenging for the lash technician to work with your lashes.
-
Discuss Allergies: Inform your lash technician of any allergies you may have, especially if you have a history of allergic reactions to beauty products. This will help them choose the right adhesive for you.
-
Avoid Moisturizers and Eye Creams: On the day of your appointment, skip using moisturizers and eye creams around the eye area, as they can create a barrier that interferes with the lash adhesive.

Permanent Makeup Post-care
-
Keep the Area Clean: Gently clean the tattooed area using a mild, non-alcoholic, and non-abrasive cleanser.
-
Avoid Water and Moisture: For the first few days after the procedure, avoid getting the tattooed area wet. This includes avoiding excessive sweating, swimming, or taking long showers. Moisture can affect the healing process and may lead to pigment loss.
-
Use an Ointment: Apply the provided ointment to the treated area. Every 15 minutes the first day, twice a day afterwards.
-
Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect the tattooed area from direct sunlight and tanning beds. Sun exposure can cause fading and discoloration. If you need to be outside, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF to the area.
-
Avoid Makeup and Skincare Products: Avoid applying makeup, skincare products, or any other creams or lotions to the tattooed area while it's healing. These products can introduce bacteria and interfere with the healing process.
-
Avoid Picking or Scratching: Itchiness is common during the healing process, but resist the urge to scratch or pick at the tattooed area. Doing so can disrupt the pigment and lead to scarring or infection.
-
Be Patient: The healing process varies from person to person, but it typically takes a few weeks for the tattoo to fully heal. During this time, the color may appear darker and then gradually lighten as the skin heals.
-
Follow-Up Appointments: Cosmetic tattooing requires touch-up appointments to perfect the results. Schedule your touch-up session, typically between 6 to 8 weeks after the initial procedure.
